A skilled interviewer is crucial in gathering the testimonial evidence from witnesses, victims, plaintiffs, or defendants that can make or break your civil, criminal, or family law case. We locate, interview the necessary parties, and document the evidence you need for your case in a professional, ethical manner.

Criminal Defense Investigation

Patrick Hannigan is certified as Criminal Defense Specialist by the Criminal Defense Investigation Training Council. The CDITC is the premier defense investigation training organization in the country and trains criminal defense investigators for over 30 states. At Two Ravens, we utilize the Component Method of Criminal Defense and Case Management, a proven methodology for getting to the truth of a matter.

Two Ravens has experience in a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases. We assist public defenders or private defense counsel in primary or task-related investigative roles and have experience in post-conviction mitigation, civil compromise, or appeal matters requiring investigation, interviewing, research, and securing witness testimony. In Oregon, we do work on OPDC cases for OPDC rates.

Civil Litigation Support

Year of experience in research, writing, and journalism allow us to accurately source facts and evidence. We compile those into compelling, fact-rich documentation to support your case. We excel at plaintiff or defendant background investigations, witness interviews, finding people, serving process, and covert surveillance to support your case. We document scenes relevant to litigation in photos or video, produce maps and diagrams, pull public records, and lock down the testimonial evidence you need to succeed.

Background Investigations

Want to know who you are dealing with in a personal, business, or legal matter?Due diligence is important – we can provide the information you need to make informed decisions. We have access to Tier 1 data unavailable to the general public. That, plus our experience in open source intelligence and public records searches allow us to produce comprehensive, accurate background reports so you know who you are depending on in criminal defense, civil, family, business or personal matters.

Surveillance

We have the latest technology and training to provide legal, ethical and effective surveillance for our clients. We understand and operate within the bounds of state and federal privacy laws. We are expert at documenting the results of surveillance to support your case or decision-making process. Common cases involving surveillance involve civil suits, workers comp, family law matters, fraud detection, or theft prevention.

Skip Tracing and Locates

Need to find someone for a personal, business, or legal matter? We can help. Finding people – especially those that don’t want to be found – is both and art and science. Our agency uses a highly effective blend of technology, proprietary databases, and old-fashioned detective work (“Get off your ass and go knock on doors”) to find people. Skip tracing is a common need in service of process or tracking down witnesses for civil or criminal defense cases. We specialize in hard serves on hostile or avoidant subjects.

General Investigations

Got a case that doesn’t fit neatly into any category? No problem – get in touch and let’s talk about your situation. We offer a free consultation to any potential clients.

Process Service

We’ve worked with the big national process service firms, so we know just how inefficient they are: bad information, old addresses, no local knowledge. At Two Ravens, we utilize our skills as investigators to get your papers served quickly and professionally. If you don’t know the location of the party you wish to serve, we’ll find them. If you are trying to serve someone outside of our area of operations, we have connections throughout Washington and Oregon and we’ll get the job done. At Two Ravens, we are meticulous in documenting service and due diligence so your legal case can move forward on a solid foundation.

What’s in a name?

In Norse mythology, two ravens named Muginn and Huninn, or “Thought” and “Memory” accompanied the god Odin. Each day, the ravens flew around the world taking note of all happenings. Every day they returned to Odin and shared what they had learned, giving him the knowledge he required to make wise decisions.

At Two Ravens Investigations, we specialize in finding facts, evidence, and uncovering truth for our clients. We gather actionable information and intelligence and document it in professional, court-ready reports. We listen to our clients and operate with discretion and confidentiality to protect their privacy and security. We provide clients with the information they need to make informed decisions about personal, business, or legal matters.
